இரத்தத்தில் உள்ள ஒட்சிசன் அளவை கண்காணிக்க உதவும் 300 துடிப்பு ஒக்சிமீட்டர்கள் (PULSE OXIMETER) கலாநிதி போதாகம சந்திம தேரரினால் இன்று (06) அலரிமாளிகையில் வைத்து பிரதமர் மகிந்த ராஜபக்சவிடம் வழங்கி வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
கோவிட் தொற்றுக்கு உள்ளான நிலையில் சிகிச்சை பெற்றுவரும் நோயாளர்களின் வசதிக்காகப் பகிர்ந்தளிப்பதற்காக இந்த துடிப்பு ஒக்சி மீட்டர்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa received 300 Nos PULSE OXIMETERs donated by Chief Incumbent of Manelwatta Temple in Kelaniya, Vice-Chancellor of the Nagananda International Institute for Buddhist Studies (NIBS ), and the Chief Incumbent of Taiwan Dr. Bodagama Chandima Thero at Temple Trees today (06th August).
Pulse oximeters are essential to measuring oxygen saturation in the blood of patients undergoing Covid-19 treatments.
Dr. Bodagama Chandima Thero held high regard for the government efforts in the vaccination program in eliminating the Covid-19 epidemic in Sri Lanka.
The Prime Minister pointed out that protection of the lives of the people through vaccination is at the highest priority.
He also valued the immense contributions made by various voluntary organizations and private institutions in strengthening the government vaccination program and Covid-19 treatment strategies.
